Woodstock is situated about 8 miles to the north of Oxford and 60 miles north west of London. It began as a stop off for those travelling north by coach before expanding around the Royal Hunting Lodge which became the site of Blenheim Palace, home of the Dukes of Marlborough since the early 1700s.

Woodstock has plenty to offer including numerous artwork and antique shops, a museum, places of historic interest, a farmers market (1st Saturday of each month) as well as hosting a number of local events throughout the year.

Places of interest in and near to Woodstock include the grave of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace, The Historic City of Oxford, Bicester Village Shopping Outlet, The Market Towns of Chipping Norton, Deddington & Moreton in Marsh, Burford & Bourton on the Water, Great Tew.
